Terms of Use
Effective October 19, 2026
These terms cover using willowsite.com, asking us for a free website preview, and using preview sites we make. By using our website or sending us a request, you agree to them. If you become a client, your website plan is covered by the separate service agreement we both sign; if the two ever disagree, the service agreement wins.
Free previews
- Previews are free and come with no obligation to buy. We may decline to make one.
- A preview is a concept. It may use sample text, placeholder prices, opening hours or phone numbers, and photos that aren’t yours. Don’t rely on it as accurate information about any business.
- A preview made for a business isn’t that business’s official website and isn’t endorsed by them unless they become our client and approve it.
- If you’re a business owner and want a preview of your business removed, email us and we will remove it.
What you send us
When you send us information, photos, logos or other material, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you let us use it to make your preview and provide our services. You still own it.
Our content
Our website, designs, code and sample sites belong to Willowsite or the people who licensed them to us. Some photos are used under open licenses and credited on the page. Don’t copy our designs or code without our permission. For clients, ownership of a website is explained in the service agreement.
Using our website
Please don’t misuse our website: no spam or fake requests, no attempts to break in or overload it, no automated scraping of our request form, and nothing unlawful. We may block anyone who does.
Prices
Prices on our website can change. The price that applies to you is the one in your signed service agreement or written quote. Every plan and add-on is described on our pricing section; we confirm the price before starting any paid work.
No warranties
We work hard to keep our website and previews accurate and available, but we provide them “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, Willowsite isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or lost profits or data, from using our website or free previews. For free services, our total liability is limited to $100. For paid services, the limits in your service agreement apply.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, such as photo sources or maps. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using our website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
